Starting Monday morning, Sept. 23, the northbound I-71 exit ramp to Hudson St will be open only to traffic using the ramp’s eastbound right turn lane. The through lane/left turn lane will be closed for construction for approximately 7 days and traffic detoured to the Weber Rd exit. Motorists should follow the posted detour and use Weber Rd to Indianola Ave to get back to Hudson St.

IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Cleveland Ave at Myrtle Ave Project
Closure Area: Myrtle Ave, east of Cleveland Ave
Closure Dates: Starting early next week until approximately September 30
Reason for Closure: Installation of storm lines running from Cleveland Ave to the Linden Ave intersection
Traffic Impact: One lane of northbound traffic on Cleveland Ave will be maintained. Myrtle Ave will be fully closed to ensure safety during the construction.

What is the Central Columbus NCHP Project? To comply with federal requirements, Columbia Gas of Ohio is replacing our gas lines within the Linden and Clintonville communities. There will be minimal direct impact to Columbia Gas customers. Pipeline construction may affect traffic throughout the duration of the project, as most work will be done in the road right-of-way. We ask all motorists to be patient and be respectful of all work zone directives.

Construction is improving the east leg of the Hudson St intersection at I-71 as part of the total reconstruction of Hudson St from I-71 to Cleveland Ave.

Stay informed about upcoming changes in our neighborhood due to the ongoing Cleveland Ave at Myrtle Ave project. Starting early next week, the city will be making significant progress on the northeast corner of this project, which will necessitate a temporary road closure.
