Columbia Gas Construction
Columbia Gas of Ohio
To comply with federal requirements, we are replacing our gas lines within the Linden and Clintonville communities. There will be minimal direct impact to Columbia Gas customers. Pipeline construction may affect traffic throughout the duration of the project, as most work will be done in the road right-of-way. We ask all motorists to be patient and be respectful of all work zone directives.

Cleveland Avenue Crosswalks
Walk Safe on Cleveland
The Columbus Department of Public Service is building seven new enhanced crosswalks on Cleveland Avenue, while the Franklin County Engineer’s Office will install 5 more between Huy and Melrose. Each crosswalk will include a push-button system with flashing lights to alert drivers to pedestrians. Sidewalks will be temporarily closed during construction, so pedestrians should exercise caution. Drivers must drive slowly and watch for pedestrians stepping into the street. For safety, pedestrians should wait for red lights to cross Cleveland Avenue and always look both ways.
